If you have ever eaten brisket that was cooked to perfection, here is one simple approach which may help you achieve the same.
Brisket is a large piece of meat, similar to pot roast, which takes a long time to cook. The reason is it is cooked on a low heat to maintain its juices.
A secret to making appetizing brisket is onion mix. The simple packet of onion mix which you can get from Knorr's is all it takes. Add 1 or 2 packets of mix, depending on how large your cut of meat is, and cover with foil. Make sure you add some water to the bottom of the pan from the beginning so while cooking, you can baste the meat and flip it.
